Copper Sulphate may also be called CuSO4, Copper Sulfate, Cupric Sulphate, Cupric Sulfate, Copper II Sulphate, Copper II Sulfate and Copper Sulphate Acid.

ReAgent can supply a number of grades of Copper Sulphate in a variety of pack sizes, beginning at 500g.  Copper Sulphate (also known as CuSO4) is supplied as a blue solid in crystal form.  It is most frequently hydrated, and as a result will dissolve relatively easily in water.  We can manufacture and supply ready made solutions of any strength in pack sizes up to 1000L, mixed with high quality water or other chemicals as required by our customers.

Copper Sulphate is a salt, which is used for many things, including the following:

• for laboratory testing and analysis

• as a material in other solutions such as Benedict’s Reagent, Marbles Reagent and Fehling’s Solution, all of which can also be supplied by ReAgent

• for Copper plating metal through electroplating

• in the production of other Copper salts

• in soil to control copper levels

• for controlling the growth of fungi, plant roots and grape vines

• for killing algae

•  in the ceramics industry
