Demineralised Water is a high quality of 'pure' water and is produced by passing water through ion exchange resin beds which filter out and remove unwanted mineral salts and trace elements from the water. Such minerals include Sodium, Calcium and Chloride. The resultant water is of high purity and amongst its many uses are analytical and laboratory applications. Demineralised Water sometimes has a spelling with the letter 'z' as in Demineralized Water, but the two products are identical. Demineralised Water is also known as Deionised Water or Deionized Water, again with a letter 'z'.
In addition to Demineralized Water, ReAgent offers Distilled Water which is produced by means of a process known as 'distillation' whereby water in a vessel is boiled and the steam produced is collected in a separate container, cooled and as it cools it forms a liquid which is known as Distilled Water.
Distilled Water is another form of high quality 'pure' water but it is more expensive to produce than Demineralised Water, consequently many industrial and engineering applications now use Demineralised Water where appropriate instead of Distilled Water. Our friendly and knowledgeable Technical Sales Team will be pleased to answer any queries about the suitability of Demineralised Water versus Distilled Water for your particular requirement.
Staff at ReAgent are qualified professionals dedicated to producing products of the highest possible quality. All staff are familiar with LEAN requirements and ReAgent is a recognised Investor in People. We are confident that once you buy Demineralised Water from ReAgent, you will wish to return to us again and again for all your water requirements. Many of our customers are 'blue chip' global organisations but we are equally happy to supply SME's and individuals.
Thank you for taking the time to read about Demineralised Water and we look forward to becoming your preferred supplier in the near future.
