Gold Testing Scales

High quality scales which work to 0.01g accuracy.  It is useful to weigh gold and other precious metals to determine the value of an item.  These are included as standard in our Professional Gold Testing Kit but are also available as an accessory.  Inculdes carry pouch for protection.

Gold Testing File

Needle files are used to scratch a small indent into the item of jewellery prior to testing.  Our files are precision cut with a high-grip handle, making them ideal for accessing those inconspicuous areas needed to perform a test.  150mm.

Gold Testing Tile

Our Gold testing tile is an unglazed stone sourced from a specialist supplier.  The testing tile is used by rubbing an unplated item of jewellery against the surface, in order to perform the acid test against the tile rather than the item. Testing tiles are completely reusable - simply wash any acid and residual marks off with clean water afterwards.  48mm x 48mm.

Neodymium magnets have permanent magnetic properties. Due to this, the magnets will last indefinitely however it is advisable to handle with care - they can be brittle when attracted to a surface at force.
