ReAgent manufactures and supplies a wide range of hydrochloric acid HCl, from very dilute solutions to concentrated forms. Above is a selection of some of the types of Hydrochloric Acid we supply, but our offering is by no means limited to what you see here.
Hydrochloric Acid is also known as HCl, muratic acid, chlorohydric acid, marine acid, spirit of salt. When stored at room temperature, dilute hydrochloric acid is colourless, whilst more concentrate solutions are light yellow. Due to its strong acidity, common uses for this product include dissolving metals and adjusting pH values. Hydrochloric acid is created by dissolving hydrogen chloride gas in water. It is a by-product of chlorine manufacture, along with sodium hypochlorite and sodium hydroxide. When mixed with nitric acid, aqua regia is formed, which is capable of dissolving platinum and gold. ReAgent can also supply sodium hypochlorite, sodium hydroxide, nitric acid and pre-mixed aqua regia.
