Sodium Chloride is a very commonly found product, perhaps more frequently referred to as common salt. It is very soluble in water. It also raises the freezing point of water, which is why it is used for gritting roads. It is not compatible with strong oxidising agents, such as sodium hypochlorite. ReAgent is also able to supply Sodium Hypochlorite, should this be of interest. Sodium Chloride is a non-hazardous substance.
