What Type of Technical Support Do We Offer?
We offer a variety of pre- and post-sales technical support, at no extra cost to our customers. With a dedicated team of technical experts with PhD-level qualifications, we work closely with you to get the product right, make suggestions to improve the product quality, and help save you money by choosing the most efficient production process.
Some of the different types of technical support we offer are summarised below. However, if you require support that’s not covered here, do get in touch. No matter what you need advice on, our friendly experts are on hand with answers to your questions before, during, and after you place your order.
Product Testing and Certificates of Analysis
All products go through a rigorous testing process before we even start manufacturing. They’re then tested regularly throughout production to ensure they conform to the relevant national or international regulations and meet our high quality control standards.
Once we’re 100% satisfied, we’ll issue a Certificate of Analysis to confirm your product adheres to the required standard and complies with your specifications. It’s just one of the ways we provide our customers that extra peace of mind.
Product Development Support
Our in-house chemists love a challenge and are always happy to help customers develop bespoke formulations that meet their specific needs. Depending on your requirements, this might mean creating a new formulation from scratch or recreating an existing product by analysing a sample or working from a safety data sheet.
Either way, we view working with our customers as a collaborative effort, and will always go that extra mile to ensure your needs are met.
Our Quality Control Lab Facility
Our manufacturing facilities include a modern, air-conditioned quality control lab where our expert chemists work on product development. Our range of specialist equipment allows us to conduct a variety of tests to ensure every product is manufactured to our strict quality standards as well as the customer’s specific parameters.
Our QC lab equipment includes:
- Autotitrator, for acid-base, redox, and silver titrations
- pH/ conductivity meters
- Viscometers
- UV – Vis spectrophotometer
- Moisture balances for determination of solids content
- Density measurements
- FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy)
- XRF (X-ray Fluorescence)
We can also carry out a range of compendial tests to set methods. In addition to our QC lab, our manufacturing facility includes class 7 cleanrooms that allow us to manufacture products for medical devices.
Product Development at ReAgent
Whether you want to replicate an existing product or create a new formulation entirely, our highly skilled chemists can help to make your vision a reality.
If you have an existing product you’d like to recreate or replace, simply send us the relevant safety data sheet or provide a sample for testing and we’ll do the rest. Our modern laboratory is fitted with cutting-edge equipment that enables us to de-formulate a product and identify its chemical makeup. Depending on the type of chemical, this might involve techniques such as FTIR spectroscopy, XRF analysis, and UV-visible spectroscopy. If necessary, we can also call upon our external supply chain to assist us.
Alternatively, our experts can work with you to develop a brand-new product that meets your criteria – whatever they might be. Utilising their wealth of knowledge and experience, our technical team can scour the market for existing formulations or, if required, start from scratch and produce sample batches for inspection.
Working with Customers on Product Development
There are many reasons why customers come to us for help with product development. For example, their existing supplier may no longer be able to meet their requirements, perhaps because they can’t supply the volume or quality they need.
As well as supporting well-established companies, we also work with start-ups who want to develop a product that’s already in demand (we’ve recently worked on a carpet cleaner, for instance). Whatever the reason might be, our technical experts will share their knowledge and insight to help you develop a high-quality product that’s right for your business.
If you’re happy for us to retain the IP for your formulation, we can provide in-house product development support at no extra charge. Alternatively, if you’d rather own the IP, this can be arranged but please note that this is considered paid work. Either way, we can discuss this on a case-by-case basis and come to a commercial arrangement that works for you.
The Product Testing Process at ReAgent
Batch Testing
We take quality very seriously at ReAgent and all products go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Our QC laboratory carries out agreed testing to confirm every product complies with the customer’s specifications.
This happens throughout the production process, so you can rest assured that every batch will be of the highest quality. For added reassurance, every batch is also fully traceable.
Once the batch testing is complete, we then issue a Certificate of Analysis to confirm the product meets our strict quality standards and adheres to the agreed parameters.
Third-Party Testing
Our quality control laboratory is fitted with an excellent range of cutting-edge equipment. However, if we don’t have the capabilities to test your product in-house, we have a contingent of trusted external partners we can call upon to help us complete the process.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can you supply Certificates of Analysis (CoA) with products?
Yes, a CoA or a Certificate of Conformity is available with all the products we manufacture. Certificates of Analysis verify that we have met our stringent quality standards (ISO 9001:2015) and manufactured the product to your specifications.
These are available at any time upon request, or as a standard requirement when fulfilling an order. To request a copy, please contact us with your batch number.
2. Can I see the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for a product?
Absolutely! We provide an MSDS/SDS for every chemical we manufacture and supply. You’ll find a copy included with your order confirmation email, or you can contact us at any time and we’ll provide you with a product’s SDS as soon as possible.
Ensuring our customers use our products safely is a priority for us. Our MSDS database provides a complete list of all the safety data sheets related to every chemical on our website. It also automatically updates every time a new SDS is created.
Our MSDS database page also provides some key information about material safety data sheets to help you understand them as fully as possible. We detail the sections and subsections of an SDS, the different types of hazards to be aware of, how to read an SDS, and so on.
It’s important to note that an SDS shouldn’t be taken as a complete source of information about a chemical. It serves as a general summary and doesn’t include any local legislation that may affect the specific chemical.
3. How do I qualify for free technical support?
All prospective and current customers automatically get access to free technical support from our friendly team. We’re with you every step of the way to ensure your needs are met and your questions are answered.
Free technical support is available over the phone, by email, or in person – whichever works best for you. We’re always happy to help!
4. How can you offer a 100% quality guarantee?
All products manufactured at our site are batch-traceable and undergo tight QC controls. Additionally, we always manufacture in accordance with several quality standards, including the ISO 9001 Quality Standard, the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard, and the ISO 45001 Standard for Occupational Health & Safety.
We also carry out chemical analysis in our laboratory on-site, so we always know the exact compositions of our products. If your product is to be used in the medical field, we are also accredited to the ISO 13485 Standard for Medical Devices, ensuring we can provide that extra level of quality.
