Watch our new video to discover why WDP Group chose ReAgent to reformulate their non-chlorine, mineral-based water treatment products.

In this short interview with Managing Director Ian Robinson, you’ll learn how ReAgent helped WDP develop a superior, safer, and more cost-effective product to suit their needs. Alternatively, continue reading for a brief breakdown of everything you can expect to see and hear about in the video!

What is the video all about?

The video is an interview with Ian Robinson, the managing director of water purification company WDP Group Limited. Originally operating as a sub-distributor of non-chlorine water treatment solutions, WDP now manufactures its own bespoke water treatment products with the help of ReAgent.

In the video, Ian gives a detailed account of his experience working with our team and the reasons why he would recommend ReAgent to anyone looking for a chemical company or blender for product development.

Watch the video to find out more about how:

  • WDP Group was founded in 2006 and started primarily as a sub-distributor of non-chlorine-based water treatment products
  • Concerns over quality led the company to look for a more reliable chemical manufacturer with a good reputation based in the UK
  • After discovering ReAgent at a trade show, Ian was impressed by our range of chemical formulations, experience in delivering to Africa, and ability to come up with new product alternatives WDP having a meeting at ReAgent
  • WDP worked with the chemists at ReAgent to manufacture and develop a superior and safer product that removed the need for hazardous chemical transportation.
  • As a result, WDP’s business direction expanded from recreational water treatment to treating water in developing countries
  • Ian has been equally impressed with ReAgent’s timely turnaround – their products are now delivered within three to five days, rather than 10 Ian Robinson from WDP having a tour of ReAgent's factory
  • Partnering with ReAgent has enabled WDP to manufacture its own products rather than merely being a sub-distributor. It’s also meant they’ve been able to achieve cost savings of around 25% to 30%
  • Ian says he would highly recommend ReAgent to any company that wants to develop new ideas and bespoke chemical formulations.
