Over the last 12 months, ReAgent have employed a number of new staff members to cope with our increased demand throughout all aspects of our business.
Staff that we have employed over the past 12 months haven’t been to replace current staff, but to fill new and opening positions within the company. ReAgent has grown drastically within such a short space of time, and to cope with the high demand that has spread through every aspect of our business we have been constantly looking to hire new members of staff, as well as open new positions in preparation for future developments.
Some of Our New Staff
Below, you can see some of the new office staff who have joined ReAgent over the past 12 months.
David Rowlands, Technical Sales Specialist
David joined ReAgent in October 2016 as a Technical Sales Specialist. He studied Applied Chemistry in Manchester whilst also working as a lab. technician for Lankro. David has over 40 years’ experience in the UK Chemical Industry, incorporating roles in product development, manufacturing, formulating and sales (distribution and for a major manufacturer) – principally with surfactants. David’s role will be to support customers and find solutions to their problems. You can connect with David via LinkedIn.
Charlotte Chase, Technical Sales Specialist
Charlotte joined ReAgent in October 2016 as a Technical Sales Specialist. She graduated from The University of Manchester with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Chemistry in 2014 and went on to work with a Digital Printing company as an Applications Chemist. Within this position, Charlotte formulated Inkjet inks, coatings and textile pre-treatments, as well as modifying characteristics such as viscosity, pH and surface tension of customer samples. Throughout this technical role, Charlotte successfully took on Sales and Marketing responsibilities and attended exhibitions and conferences around the world. Shirley Leetch – Product Development Chemist
Shirley has over 20 years’ experience in product development roles. Most of this time was spent working on pharmaceutical products but Shirley also has experience working with products such as disinfectants and soaps.
Shirley Joined ReAgent in January 2017 and works closely with Sales to help interpret customer’s requests for new and innovative products for a diverse range of applications.
The main focus for Shirley is the formulation and manufacture of samples of new products. This involves the following:-
- Deciding on which raw materials to use
- Creating a method of manufacture
- Selecting appropriate packaging’s
- Creation of CLP compliant labels and SDS
- Reviewing success and revising formulation if required.
Colin Robinson –
Colin Joined ReAgent in March 2017. He has 15 years’ experience working in a fast paced HSEQ laboratory. Colin has a HNC in applied Chemistry and is also highly experienced in ISO 9001 and is fully aware of the upcoming requirement regarding the conversion to ISO 9001:2016. This blend of qualifications and experience makes Colin a perfect fit within ReAgent.
Colin’s role will cover all aspects of quality within ReAgent including:-
- Management of Internal Audits
- Root cause analysis and problem solving
- Management of complaints
- Management of Non-conformances
- Ensure training is up to date
- Review audits and update KPI’s
- Implement visual management
- Raising awareness of the importance of quality within the business and how this can help us to achieve our business objectives.
