Freight first has a personal connection with the charity as their Sales Manager Chris Bullock’s twins were unfortunately born prematurely and cared for in the neonatal care unit at Chester Hospital. The nurses did an absolutely incredible job in caring for the family as a whole, whom will be forever grateful for what they did. This is their way of having the chance to give something back to the charity.
And who are we to turn down an opportunity to offer our own support towards their appeal. With sharp suits and elegant dresses ReAgent happily attended the event.
The evening itself was fantastic with a friendly, warm atmosphere and entertainment, as well as interactive fundraising games. We can happily announce that yes we indeed came a successful 2nd with our balloon take on an elephant (thank you Simon). Our very own Barbara Hudson was also a lucky winner on the evenings raffle and was quite pleased with her bottle of wine.
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Charitable Funds is currently aiming to raise £3 million so that they can double the size of the existing baby unit, allowing them to help more babies – a truly worthwhile cause.
