The ReAgent Foundation’s Beginning

Years ago, Rich Hudson, CEO of ReAgent and Chair of the ReAgent Foundation, had a vision of starting a corporate foundation. The business used to make small contributions to employee causes, but Rich had his sights on bigger things. ReAgent’s continued growth eventually made his vision possible.

“When ReAgent was a lot smaller, it was more challenging to run the business. It was a fight for survival, essentially,” says Rich Hudson. “I used to daydream about one day, the company being so well established that we could afford to actually start giving back.”

The ReAgent Foundation was established as a registered charity in 2025 and officially launched at the beginning of 2026.

The ReAgent Foundation’s Focus

The ReAgent Foundation operates on three core values: responsibility, integrity, and community. It believes every company has a responsibility to improve communities around them.

Its charitable work focuses on three strategic pillars:

  • Protecting the environment
  • Improving the lives of those with life-altering illnesses
  • Promoting STEM education

Each year, the ReAgent Foundation partners with three organisations, selecting one aligned with each of its pillars. It supports each partner with a charitable donation and dedicated volunteer assistance.

2026 Partnerships

The ReAgent Foundation’s 2026 partnerships demonstrate its commitment to wellbeing, STEM education, and environmental conservation.

MS-UK

MS-UK empowers people living with multiple sclerosis to live healthier, happier lives. They offer a mental health helpline, online and in-person activities, peer support groups, and other services. MS-UK also raises awareness through MS education and fundraising projects.

Science Museum

The Science Museum educates and inspires young minds in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Their award-winning exhibitions, interactive displays, and live demonstrations promote hands-on learning.

Snowdonia Society

The Snowdonia Society is an environmental charity that protects the landscape and wildlife of Snowdonia. They work with local authorities on conservation initiatives and organise volunteer programmes focusing on environmental conservation.

Hands-on Support

For the ReAgent Foundation, creating a real impact involves more than donations.

ReAgent’s volunteer day programme allows employees to take time off to support the ReAgent Foundation’s partners. This hands-on work is key to making a tangible impact on people’s lives and the environment.

Annual fundraising challenges give team members another opportunity to get involved. This year’s fundraising event is the 24-hour Three Peaks Challenge. Participants will raise money for the ReAgent Foundation as they attempt to hike Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales.

Long-Term Impact

Rich has big ambitions for the ReAgent Foundation. He wants it to be immensely impactful and believes it will be.

“Long term, I hope that the Foundation has an enormous impact. Like ReAgent, I honestly believe the sky’s the limit. And I think the sky’s the limit for the Foundation as well, ” says Rich.

As ReAgent grows, the ReAgent Foundation will expand its reach and create lasting benefits for communities and the environment.
