Rich

CEO

Rich has ultimate responsibility for the success of ReAgent. He believes the way to achieve this is for the people who work at ReAgent to feel happy in their roles, and for our customers to be happy with the quality of our products and services. With exceptional growth every year since 2010 when Rich took over leadership of ReAgent, a move into a better-equipped and more spacious factory, and a strong company culture, Rich is proud to have come so far in ReAgent’s achievements to date - but he, along with the senior management team, will always strive to improve and do more.
Interesting Fact: Rich is a Master Scuba Diver, the highest attainable non-professional scuba diving certification.

Simon

Managing Director

14th Year of Service
Simon was made managing director of ReAgent in January 2019 following eight successful years at the company as general manager and operations director. Day-to-day, Simon holds regular meetings and has lots of communication between all departments so he’s aware of everything that’s going on across the business. A big believer in continual professional development, he is currently taking courses with the Institute of Directors.
Interesting Fact: Simon is a keen mountain biker and can often be found on the trails of North Wales.

Darren

Sales Director

36th Year of Service
As sales director, Darren is responsible for strategic changes in the sales department which enable the achievement of ReAgent’s plans for growth. Having worked at ReAgent since he was 16, Darren is extremely experienced and knowledgeable and has a raft of scientific and technical qualifications, is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and has a Professional Diploma in Manufacturing from the Manufacturing Institute.
Interesting Fact: Darren enjoys motorcycling, and attending rock music concerts.

Jo

Finance Director

17th Year of Service
Although she wanted to be a PE teacher when she was younger (and is a qualified coach), Jo has worked in accounts and finance in various industries since she was 19. With ReAgent since 2008, she is responsible for the day-to-day running of our company accounts and cash flow. As well as reconciling our bank accounts, Jo manages both customer and supplier accounts, deals with overseas payments, runs payroll, produces VAT returns and keeps our management accounts up to date. Jo is fully AAT qualified and is currently completing her CIMA qualifications as part of continuing professional development.
Interesting Fact: Jo’s first job was working at an Irish draft horse stud farm.

Jessica

Director

1st Year of Service
Jessica has extensive experience in marketing, with roles in industries including education, travel, and energy. She has worked overseas in Australia and New Zealand, and her last corporate role before setting up her own business was as senior manager in the global brand team at LEGO. Jess’ business started working with ReAgent in 2019, and she joined as a permanent team member in 2024. Jess works in the marketing team and leads a variety of growth projects.
Interesting Fact: Jess loves Star Wars. She has two Star Wars tattoos, an extensive LEGO Star Wars collection, and has even been known to cosplay.

Graham

Compliance and Regulatory Manager

42nd Year of Service
Graham joined ReAgent in 1983 as a trainee laboratory technician combining work and study to achieve Chartered Chemist (MRSC CChem) status. He has held various positions within the company including Production Manager, Works Manager and Quality Manager, before taking on his current role of Compliance and Regulatory Manager. Graham is now responsible for ensuring that ReAgent remains compliant with current chemical legislation, ISO certifications and our Investors in People award. Graham has extensive technical knowledge and uses his experience to support ReAgent’s operational functions.
Interesting Fact: Graham is an outdoor enthusiast and keen wildlife photographer.

John

Sales Manager

11th Year of Service
John started in customer service at ReAgent and has since been appointed Sales Manager, an office-based role with some field work. He maintains and develops relationships with both new and existing customers, and also with ReAgent’s suppliers. He frequently visits customers across the world to get a better understanding of their processes and see how ReAgent can help improve them. Other aspects of John’s role include training team members, writing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), putting together product costings and quotes, and taking responsibility for ensuring we meet our customers’ promise delivery dates.
Interesting Fact: John grew up in Germany and is a qualified FA Referee.

Simon

Technical Manager

2nd Year of Service
Simon joined ReAgent in January 2023 and manages the technical side of things. This includes assessing new enquiries and writing work instructions, test methods, specifications, and SDS, supporting the sales team with technical queries, and identifying process, equipment and raw material improvements. Simon's career in chemistry spans a PhD in designing and synthesising liquid crystals and as a process development chemist for fine chemical, pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and specialties manufacturing companies. He has worked on chemicals ranging from pharmaceutical intermediates and lubricants to fuel additives, herbicides, nanoparticles, and contact lenses.
Interesting Fact: Simon has grown and collected alpines and small bulbs since his school days.

Andrew

Quality Manager

2nd Year of Service
Andrew received a First Class Masters Degree in Chemistry in 2018 before becoming an analyst at a chemical waste recycling plant. Following that, he was a production scientist and health and safety officer in the hydrogel industry, before being promoted to quality manager. With experience in the implementation, maintenance, and auditing of both ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality systems, Andrew is responsible for handling product quality projects, client audits, and accreditation audits for our quality systems.
Interesting Fact: Andrew enjoys wild camping in the Scottish highlands.

Darren

Marketing Manager

10th Year of Service
Darren uniquely manages to mix creative flair with technical expertise to keep ReAgent at the forefront of marketing. Responsible for designing and developing multiple websites, creating offline marketing material, and photography and videography, Darren uses his 20 years of experience to ensure that ReAgent is an industry leader in marketing chemical services. Having previously worked as a freelancer with major organisations such as Sony and Liverpool Culture Arts, he is a multi-channel marketing expert.
Interesting Fact: Darren used to present a drive time Radio show in Liverpool which run for 2 years.

Chris

Warehouse & Logistics Manager

10th Year of Service
Chris has worked at ReAgent since 2015 when he came in for four weeks as a temporary contractor in the dispatch team...and the rest is history! Having worked in the coated films industry since leaving school, Chris has extensive knowledge of warehouse operations and production. He now controls all goods coming into and leaving our warehouse, as well as writing and implementing our standard operating procedures. Chris is responsible for the processes and paperwork for one of ReAgent’s biggest customers.
Interesting Fact: Chris loves American football having been a keen player in his youth.

Adam

IT Manager

3rd Year of Service
At ReAgent since October 2022, Adam is responsible for our network infrastructure, from day-to-day operations to future planning. Adam has been an IT professional for the past 20 years, offering support and solutions that improve organisational capabilities and maximise user experience. With a wealth of understanding and a passion for technology, he has a razor-sharp focus on the IT landscape and stays up to date with the latest tech trends. Adam is also a skilled project manager, able to create and execute complex IT initiatives.
Interesting Fact: Adam is an electronic music producer and house music DJ.

Steve

Production Manager

2nd Year of Service
Steve has spent much of his career working on and implementing different types of manufacturing methods, such as LEAN, to improve efficiency and capacity. Having worked in aerospace, the rail network, and engineering, he has vast global experience and a focus on continual improvement. At ReAgent, Steve uses operational effectiveness equipment and methodologies to pinpoint improvement areas and has doubled production capacity for key customers. He believes that people development is key and prioritises mentoring and upskilling his team.
Interesting Fact: Steve is the lead singer of a rock covers band and has a single-figure golf handicap.

Technical Sales Specialist

David joined ReAgent in 2016 as a Technical Sales Specialist. He studied applied chemistry in Manchester whilst also working as a lab technician for Lankro. David has almost 40 years’ experience in the UK chemical industry, incorporating roles in product development, manufacturing, formulating, and sales - both in distribution and for a major manufacturer - principally with surfactants. David’s role at ReAgent is to provide technical support for the sales team and to visit current and potential customers to promote our products and services.
Interesting Fact: David formulated a washing up liquid which was patented.

Oliver

Sales Executive

7th Year of Service
Oliver has an extensive background in chemistry, having studied the subject up to PhD level at Manchester Met, the University of York, and the University of Glasgow. He brings this in-depth knowledge to ReAgent’s sales team, having spent eight years in research & development for a variety of chemical products and companies from SMEs to large FMCGs. Oliver provides customer support with technical advice, and also supports the product development and manufacturing teams.
Interesting Fact: Oliver studied musical theatre to grade 8 with the Royal Northern College of Music whilst completing his degree.

Kerry

Customer Service

4th Year of Service
Kerry joined ReAgent as a member of our sales admin team, bringing extensive experience in customer-facing roles across the property, legal, and banking sectors and a real customer-focused attitude and approach. At ReAgent, Kerry ensures that our customers are well looked after, seeking feedback on our performance and making the customer experience a truly positive one. Kerry also helps our sales team make customer appointments and build relationships.
Interesting Fact: Kerry is a trained hairdresser.

Lisa

Technical Sales Executive

1st Year of Service
Lisa joined ReAgent in February 2024 as Technical Sales Executive. She brings with her a Masters degree in Chemistry with German, and extensive experience in the personal care industry. Lisa started her career as a development/formulation chemist in the lab, before moving into account management and sales for a personal care and pharmaceutical ingredients distributor. Following a number of years living in Europe, Lisa is now responsible for supporting ReAgent's technical enquiries, liaising with customers, and producing detailed quotations.
Interesting Fact: Lisa has lived in five different European countries.

Matt

Technical Sales Executive

1st Year of Service
Matt joined ReAgent in 2024 as a Technical Sales Executive, providing technical support to the sales team from managing accounts to processing quotes and handling incoming enquiries. After earning a degree in Chemistry from Newcastle University, Matt gained experience in the chemical industry firstly in a COVID lab, and then as a site chemist at a hazardous waste facility.
Interesting Fact: Matt spent three months as a climbing instructor at a summer camp in the US, where he also learnt to wakeboard.

Kyle

Sales Administrator

Kyle joined ReAgent’s sales team in 2024. He works alongside the technical sales and customer service teams, providing support across all areas from order processing and general enquiries to bespoke product label design and being the first point of contact for our customers. Kyle previously worked as a plumbing and heating apprentice engineer and then as a qualified engineer before venturing into high-end bathroom design and sales.
Interesting Fact: Kyle enjoys hiking with friends and regularly play football, typically as goalkeeper.
