At ReAgent, we’re working on a number of projects across our manufacturing facility to enhance efficiency, create space, and ensure we’re meeting our strict health and safety standards.

One of our most recent projects has been to increase our pallet racking. You can learn all about how and why we did it here, as well as watching its construction:

Why do we need extra racking space?

As a high-growth company, we’re always looking for ways to maximise space.

Making space for extra pallet racking in our factory

We needed to increase our pallet racking for a number of reasons:

  • To increase our capacity for storage, which will enable us to absorb more business
  • To ensure health and safety on our site remains first-rate
  • To implement a new factory layout that has helped us become more efficient in maximising use of space

Altogether, we’ve doubled our pallet racking.

How will the new pallet racking help?

Our new pallet racking is heavy duty, with a high load capacity. That means it can take extra weight and we’re able to store more product.

Additionally, the racking has anti collapse meshing fitted to the rear, as well as upright protectors and aisle protectors to prevent damage and enhance safety.

This new racking will help our material handlers and production team with the segregation of products, making them easier to store and easier to find. Our new layout is also safer, with defined zones for different types of product, such as chemicals, customer supplied goods, and packaging.
