As a high-growth chemical manufacturing company, ReAgent’s energy demands are increasing, so we’ve taken a major step toward reducing our environmental impact by installing a solar farm on the roof of our factory.

Watch our video to see how we’ve put sustainability at the heart of our operations:

Our solar installation: Key facts

Working with KDE, a local partner, we’ve installed approximately 1,500 solar panels on our 60,000-square-foot roof.

The system is designed to maximise energy production and includes infrastructure upgrades, such as a larger transformer and two G99 relays, which enable us to safely return excess energy to the grid.

The solar farm can generate 630,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity annually – that’s enough to power over 200 homes – and avoids 300,000 kilos of CO2 emissions each year.
